The following Christmas message has been generated by an AI-powered chatbot…

As the Christmas season approaches, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for your continued trust and partnership with our firm. We understand that managing your finances can be a daunting task, and we are grateful to be able to support you in achieving your financial goals.

We hope that this holiday season brings you joy, warmth, and meaningful connections with those you hold dear. As we reflect on the past year, we are grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such a wonderful group of clients.

We wish you all the best for a happy and healthy holiday season, and look forward to continuing to support you in the new year.

Sincerely, [Your Name]

2022 was the year artificial intelligence surpassed our intelligent superficiality. When you start seeing greeting cards written better by robots than what you and I could ever do, you start to wonder what comes next.

Platforms like Chat GPT have the potential to disrupt more than just the mundane parts of our jobs though. This is going to bring disruption, and it’s going to bring opportunity.

It may not be long before we start buying ‘next-gen devices’ all capable of becoming a proactive digital assistant who’s always working behind the scenes on your behalf. Think of Siri, now mix in your mother in law – somewhere in that odd combo lies the next generation chat bot that never stops learning about who you are. Sound bit dystopian?

I think this could be quite interesting. Imagine a digital chatbot assist-type thing, who constantly studied everything you ever wrote, or said, or searched for. What could it learn about your future based on a thorough study of your past?

What if you could ‘invest’ in your own digital avatar who worked 24/7 in your own best interests? Imagine it investing on your behalf, finding your perfect partner and exiting the current one, developing your career, lift your social media status, or working on every aspect of giving you the perfect life?

What we’re starting to see with artificial intelligence has the potential to bring a lot more creation but also some destruction – so let’s hope it brings more good than bad I say.
